Kitchen Sink
Kitchen Sink is an experimental poetic short fiction zine composed of four interwoven vignettes of everyday moments in the lives of a daydreamer, a knight, a drag performer, and a spy all constellating around overlapping experiences of gender, sexuality, identity, and fluidity.
In addition to the written zine, Kitchen Sink includes two experimental audio play versions of the text—Tidepools Version (A Side & B Side), a mirrored diptych consisting of two full performances of the text with each part played by a pair of actors, and Conflux Version, a limited relay style audio exploration featuring one part played by four actors set to original music—as further explorations of fluidity in characterization as well as the storytelling form itself.
